Designed for a young family with two growing children, this colorful residential project celebrates the idea that kids’ spaces can be playful and imaginative, while also being thoughtfully designed. The children’s rooms were tailored to their individual personalities, with a rainbow-inspired palette of soft pink and golden yellow in the girl’s room and bold primary colors, lightning bolts, and superhero energy in the boy’s room. Purposeful furnishings, creative storage, and dedicated spaces for art and play were incorporated to support their interests while allowing the rooms to evolve as they grew. In the living room, the design is more peaceful and relaxed with soft whites, natural materials, washed wood, textured artwork, and subtle blue accents to create an effortless beach-inspired retreat without relying on overt coastal motifs. A hanging chair and relaxed furnishings complete the space, setting the tone for a home that feels comfortable, joyful, and distinctly personal.
