Our assignment for this space was to infuse it with beach vibes. From the tile on the fireplace to the washed wood accent chairs, driftwood coffee table and hanging patio chair in the corner, I think we nailed it. And all without bringing anything overtly “beach” into the space. The room was infused with soft whites and natural materials accented with a soft blue in the rug and custom textured artwork by Lauren on either side of the fireplace. To date this is the only living room we have finished with a hanging chair, but it won’t be the last! I can’t think of a better way to say, “this is a relaxed house” than seeing a swing as soon as you walk in the front door. All formality is instantly washed away. Beach vibes only.
