We believe that kids’ rooms should be fun, colorful, playful, AND well designed. When we started this project, we were tasked with creating rooms that could grow with a 3 year old boy and a 5 year old girl as their interests grow and change over time, but that inspired them to play, imagine and create right now. The color palettes, furniture and accessories all started with the personalities of these sweet kids, and eventually evolved into their final room designs that could mature alongside them without having to replace everything.

This little girl’s room is rainbows and sunshine, but with just pink and gold. She was a budding artist, so we added an art table for her in the middle of the floor that included storage in the stools and could double as a perfect spot for tea parties with her baby dolls. We color matched the walls to the perfect soft pink headboard and picked a rich yellow as the accent color. All of this paired with polka dotted bedding, baskets of toys, and a pin board for pictures of all of her friends makes for the happiest space.

This little boys room is superheroes and primary colors and makes you want to jump right into a comic book. The lightning bolts, loud colors and bold striped bedding teamed with a play table for trucks and trains makes for a rough and tumble kind of boisterous play time that all little boys love.
